CHICAGO, IL – May 26, 2010 – UGL Equis is pleased to announce the formation of a new strategic alliance with Cortina Facilities, a 39-year-old firm headquartered in Mexico City. UGL Limited (UGL) has a strategic focus of all UGL Services organizations towards becoming a global provider of End to End (E2E) services. The E2E objective is to provide a service delivery model with solutions that encompass all aspects of corporate real estate. UGL Services has long recognized the value in developing a strong E2E offering; one that would best leverage our resources, achieve cost rationalization and deliver superior coordination of services to our clients on a global basis.

The strategic alliance formed with Cortina Facilities furthers these objectives by adding the additional Facility Management Services capability in Mexico to couple with the existing Corporate Real Estate (CRE) capabilities of Equis de Mexico.

Gregory Robinson, Senior Vice President, UGL Equis will be overseeing the alliance activities between the alliance members and interactions within the greater UGL organization. Joining the alliance team will be Teodoro Harrsch of Cortina Facilities Mr. Harrsch brings over 20-years experience in project management and real estate related services throughout Mexico and Latin America. He has served on corporate teams representing McDonald´s, Wal-Mart, Jones Lang LaSalle, and Hines. Mr. Harrsch will be overseeing the alliance operations in Mexico City.

Cortina Facilities is headquartered in Mexico City at Paseo de la Palmas N° 755 | Suite 700, Lomas de Chapultepec, México 11000 D.F., and will be an exclusive provider of facility management services for the alliance in the Mexican Republic.
